slow + sustain

WHO THIS IS FOR: This practice is geared towards activists and organizers who may be exhausted or in pain but, instead of restorative, are looking for a lightly active practice with exercises that encourage sustaining energy over time.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: This is a simple, slow practice with the focus on using the breath for physical sustainability, influenced by Alexander Technique, a technique for postural support. The practices include such poses such as backbends on the stomach, a few simple standing poses, and stretching.

PROPS: A chair or a wall.
