Achy Back
This practice is to help warm up and protect an achy morning back!
ACTIVITY LEVEL: low to moderate
This practice is done lying down. If you start in bed, please move to the floor once you roll onto the stomach as the rest of the poses will require more support.
Pictured: a mixed-race Asian person wearing a flowing white shirt and gray pants. Titles "Wake with a Backache? Yoga for Achy Back. 8 minute morning" in hot pink and white.
DONATIONS: Welcomed at @Alicia-Ohs at Venmo. I also accept words of encouragement, emojis, likes, and acts of community care as contributions! And watching and spreading the word about these videos helps too!
Prenatal/Postpartum: If you are pregnant, it is recommended you do not twist nor lie flat on the back after 20 weeks.
A NOTE ON TRAUMA: I am not a ‘trauma-informed’ teacher. I am an anti-racist organizer and yoga teacher who is sharing my healing journey and who believes in making healing accessible to all.
